First impressions are so important and you get to be part of a team whose main purpose is to welcome people. Whether you are helping with coffee, greeting someone at the door, providing information to guests, or helping someone find a seat, you are serving in a vital way that is making Faith Alive a welcoming place for everyone.  There are a variety of opportunities to serve before, during and after Sunday morning services. 

Help others in real-life, practical ways through community outreach events like the annual BelieveFest school supply giveaway, the Thanksgiving Dinner, Meals on Wheels delivery, or participate in periodic short term mission trips or projects throughout the year.

Build relationships with others as you facilitate discussion and help create opportunity for people to connect and grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You don’t need to be an expert in the Bible to lead, you just need to have your own personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to help others grow in their relationship with Him. We’ll provide training and resource along the way.

Be a part of purpose-filled ways to show others they are cared for.  Whether it is by joining a prayer group, showing care to the grieving by providing cakes or serving at funeral lunches, offering to help with visitations, baking cookies for Sunday morning coffee, making cards, or being involved in senior living outreach, there is always a need and always a variety ways to get involved. 

Investing in our kids is investing in our future. Spend time with them on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings by volunteering to be a classroom teacher or assistant, help with Children’s church or get involved with special events like the Kids Christmas service or summer VBS.  Offering your time and energy in the lives our kids is a privilege and a reward like no other. Help them build relationships, feel encouraged, support them in their faith and watch their love of Jesus grow right before your very eyes.

Production volunteers get to help make worship come alive through audio, video and lighting and offers times to serve either on Sunday mornings or during special events. A variety of skill levels are always needed and training is provided. If you are interested, we can help to see if this is a good fit for you. Faith Alive worship teams are always looking for musicians and vocalists if this is more of your love. 

If you love connecting to Jesus through song and love to help others do the same, this is a ministry for you.  Participate in 9AM choir, try out for 9AM song leading, try out for the 11AM worship team.  If you are a musician or vocalist this may be just what you a looking for!

Having a church home is a wonderful gift that gets a lot of use.  Having the skills and passion for fixing and making things within that building in working order is also a gift.  Do you have a passion for fixing things up or the ability to build something out of nothing? We are always looking for individuals gifted with these abilities.  Whether it is building or equipment maintenance, snow removal, or special building projects, big or small, this is a great way to share those skills.
